The XZOOMI model microscope by Velab is perfect for student use. The included accessories make this a great beginner's kit. This microscope uses a WF 10X / 18mm eyepiece with stud. The basic monocular head is easy for beginner use. It has a triple nosepiece with click-stops. The objectives are achromatic 4X, 10X and 40X, with color ring for easy identification. The stage is 90 x 90 mm, with 2 clamps. The microscope is illuminated with an LED transmitted base and incident (arm). It uses an NA 0.65 condenser and disc-type diaphragm. The microscope is powered by 3 AA 1.5V batteries (not included).
