Velab VE-B10 Binocular Phase Contrast Microscope, Sidentopf, Quadruple Nose Piece, 5.90” x 5.19” 2-Layer Stage

The VE-B10 professional phase contrast microscope allows you to perform immediate examinations and observation of fresh samples without the need of applying stains, which can damage the structure. Ideal in the observation of living cells, tissue, fresh blood analysis, quantification of microorganisms and parasites in fluids and tissues. It is adaptable to the needs of the user and includes Abbe condenser A.N. 1.25 configurations. It’s also compatible with the optional configuration for the polarization set.
This microscope uses a WF 10x/20mm with rubber eyecups and diopter adjustment on one eyepiece. The binocular Siedentopf type head is 45° inclined and 360° rotatable, with interpupillary distance adjustment between 48 - 75mm / 1.88” - 2.95”. It has a quadruple nosepiece with anti-slip grip and click-stops. The objectives are 10X, 20X (S), 40X (S) and 100X (S) (oil) for phase contrast, with plan achromatic optics, metallic finish and color ring for easy identification. The stand is stative, robust and reinforced with epoxy paint finish. The stage is a two-layer stage, with X-Y coaxial movement, 5.90” x 5.19”, vernier, millimeter scale, clamp and height adjustment with stop. Coarse anti-slip control knobs with tension adjustment allow you to make minor adjustments as you focus on your sample. The microscope is powered by three 1.2V AA rechargeable batteries (included) for 4 hours of continuous operation. 110-240V, 50/60 Hz AC adapter.
