Ohaus brings you smooth and dependable high-speed microliter centrifuges with the Frontier 5000 Multi series. These centrifuges are designed for general centrifugation. The FC5707 makes use of a convenient backlit LCD display, allowing for easy reading of information. The interface shows both set and actual parameters, with an easy-to-use touch-wheel to make adjustments. Running time can be set on a timer between 10 seconds to 99 hours, 99 minutes, and 99 seconds. It also has a setting to run continuously without a set timer. With its maintenance-free induction motor, it can produce a maximum G-force of 4,427 x g, and reach speeds up to 6,000 rpm. This model also has rotor imbalance sensing systems, which stops the unit when loadings are imbalanced. The centrifuge is powered with an included AC Adapter.
This model is bundled with an Angle Rotor (part 30472305), which gives a capacity of 8 x 15 ml.
