Detecto's ICON physician scale overs a completely touchless solution to weighing patients and measuring their height and Body Mass Index. Once the patient steps onto the scale platform, their height, weight, and BMI and automatically calculated and displayed on the easy to read LCD. This smartphone styled indicator allows for easy entry of items such as 8-digit numeric patient IDs for EMR/EHR. The Mother/Baby function factors the weight of infants and toddlers held by an adult. These scales have 1 RS-232 serial port and 1 micro USB-B port to export data to an external computer or printer. It also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Welch Allyn CVSM/CSM connectivity. This model includes the AC Adapter to power the scale. Optionally, it can also be powered with 12 AA batteries (not included), so you're able to weigh a patient anywhere without relying on available outlets.
