The scale can switch between kilograms and pounds. A 0.75 inch LCD makes your measurements easy to read. Height and weight are displayed on screen simultaneously for easy recording. APEX can also calculate a patient's BMI. Simply use the scroll arrows to input the height measurement and then press the BMI key. The Mother/Baby function factors the weight of infants and toddlers held by an adult. These scales have 1 RS-232 serial port and 1 micro USB-B port to export data to an external computer or printer. It also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Powered with 12 AA batteries (not included), you're able to weigh a patient anywhere without relying on available outlets.
