Compact and portable, this balance fits easily on any bench setup and can be taken with you wherever you may need to go. The bright LCD is easy to read. The EJ-54D2 offers a variety of unit meaurements, including carats, making it a great option for gold and jewelry applications. It features a counting mode with Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement (ACAI), as well as a percentage mode to display the weight value as a percentage of a reference mass. The accumulation function displays the sum total of separate weighing results. This scale is powered by an AC adapter or 4 AA batteries (not included). It automatically powers off to avoid wasting power.
