The EJ-54D2 offers a variety of unit meaurements, including carats, making it a great option for gold and jewelry applications. It features a counting mode with Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement (ACAI), as well as a percentage mode to display the weight value as a percentage of a reference mass. The accumulation function displays the sum total of separate weighing results. This scale is powered by an AC adapter or 4 AA batteries (not included). It automatically powers off to avoid wasting power.
