Detecto's SOLO physician scale is a great economical weighing solution. This scale provides weight, height, and body mass index measurements. The wide, flat platform with rubber mat makes it easy for patients to step on and off. For BMI, simply step on the scale to weigh and use the scroll arrows on the LCD to enter the patient's height it calculates their BMI. The scale has an RS-232 port to output measurement data tp EMR/EHR software. The inline height rod folds neatly into the column when not in use. It measures up to 84.5 inches. The column is made of sturdy aluminum with white powder coating. The SOLO has two wheels for transport, giving you more mobility in where you can weigh your patients. The scale is battery powered (batteries included), meaning you can weigh anywhere. It can also be powered via AC adapter (not included).
